Sekhar Giri is the Chairman of Sajha Prakashan, former Chairman of Birganj Sugar Mill (a Government undertaking), and a member of the Pragya Sabha of the Nepal Academy. A poet, freelance journalist, and Chief Editor of Akchhar bimonthly, he is the author of several works and a prominent voice in Nepali literature and media.
